Sedona, Arizona is natural beauty at its most vibrant. This town’s main attraction is its stunning array of red sandstone formations, the Red Rocks of Sedona, which appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun; a breathtaking and relaxing backdrop for painting on this rare opportunity with Donnah Cameron in 2010.

Sedona’s beautiful surroundings and laid-back atmosphere have drawn artists to the area in droves. Art galleries are numerous, including the Sedona Arts Center, which showcases world-class exhibits and works from the hundreds of local artists that inhabit the area. Those that want to experience hiking or biking around the ancient ruins of first American cultures and anthropological beauty of the area will find much to explore.

This 10-day package includes a luxurious stay (with breakfast) at the recently renovated King’s Ransom Hotel, nestled in the Crimson Cliffs and short stroll away from Sedona’s best galleries, boutique shops and the acclaimed Spanish style art village, Tlaquepaque. Tlaquepaque is filled with spectacular one-of-a kind art expressions in every medium from Western and eclectic bronze sculpture, functional and traditional ceramics, breathtaking blown glass creations, contemporary and Southwestern fine art paintings, weavings, decorative arts, architectural décor pieces and stunning large format photography. Fine contemporary jewelry, designer casual wear in silks, and leathers and unusual gift items all await the Tlaquepaque visitor.

Included in the package are tours of the Grand Canyon (11hrs) and Scenic Rim lookout (2.5hrs).

The group itinerary will be filled with on-location, flexible painting time with demonstration and instruction in watercolour and sketching by Donnah Cameron II, as well as personal time to explore and take in the sights.
