Get your paint brushes out and join our latest painting vacation and explore Greece, a country known for its history, myth and beauty. This fascinating destination is made of stunning islands wrapped in vibrant blue seas, whitewashed houses, churches, friendly people and monuments dating back five millennia.

This trip will begin in enchanting Athens (3 nights), one of the oldest cities representing a number of ancient monuments and works of art, the most famous being the Parthenon. Athens is a city of different aspects. A walk around the famous historic triangle (Plaka, Thission, Psyri) the old neighborhoods, reveal the coexistence of different eras from classical to modern – a painters paradise.

Our group will then fly to Crete, the largest of the Greek islands on the Mediterranean Sea (6 nights). Here we will tour mountainous landscapes, a coast with many beautiful beaches and rocky coves, beautiful towns and charming villages and harbours, as well as day trips included to the ruins at Knossos and the city of Rethymnon.

Finally, the world famous Santorini is our final stop (5 nights). Poets have written about it, artists have capture it, but nothing can quite describe the beauty of this tiny island with brilliant sunsets upon domed, white churches lining the cliff sides than seeing it with your own eyes.

Days are filled with an itinerary filled with on-location, flexible painting time with demonstration and instruction by Donnah Cameron II, mixed with a selection of included tours (with guide) as well as personal time to explore and take in the sights. This is sure to be a rich trip packed with breathtaking sights ready to be documented through your paintbrush.
